the American thrash metal band from New York City, NY, formed in 1981. Founded by guitarist Scott Ian and Danny Lilker, the band has since released ten studio albums and 20 singles and an EP featuring Public Enemy. This band is one of the most popular thrash metal scene of the 1980s. When thrash metal began to get big retainers in the mid-to-late 1980s, Anthrax dubbed one of the "big four" of thrash metal alongside Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer [2]. They are also one of the early thrash metal band to sign to a major label (Island Records, in 1985). Metal Rock Music

The band's line-up has changed several times, following the departure of drummerDave Weiss and bassist Kenny Kushner, some musicians replaced the role of band members well ', even though Paul Kahn and Greg Wall is the first to do so. In addition to this aspect, there is a vocalist who was involved in the Anthrax, with Neil turbine,Joey Belladonna and John Bush is between the frontmen of the band. Scott Ian, however, has been in the band since its formation. Ian and Charlie Benante, who joinedAnthrax in 1983, is the only constant member that appears on every album. Bassist Frank Bello has played on every album with the exception of the band's debut. Classical singer Joey Belladonna has returned to the band and appeared on the Music of worship first studio album with the band since 1990 's Persistence of Time.
