WITCHCRAFT is formed in Purwokerto, Central Java, Indonesia. Since 1993 Witchcraft told in the Underground music scene to bring the concept of initial i.e. Death Trash Metal. Then since 5 May 1997 Wizards change their concept of music into Pure Black Metal.
Whereas the word ' WITCHCRAFT ' itself means ' very evil sorcery, known in Java as a means to kill someone with the help of mantras and the power of the devil '.
Witchcraft is first formed by the leader, Bob Blackustadz along with Rudy Hailstorm.Scene scene Underground Witchcraft Indonesia became more known after showingthemselves as bearers of the standard Javanese Black Metal. In January 1999, Wizards released the debut demo titled "Creatures of Darkness". In the same year, the Wizards also released split albums Mahar Forest Restrictions "with Drosophilla (GothicDoom band Horror from Jogjakarta), which sold throughout Indonesia and other countries more than 2000 copies.
Wizards also took part in the compilation album "Metallic Clinic vol. 3" with the single ' rendition of the spirit Roworhontek '. This compilation album was released by Rotorcorp and distributed by PT. Musica (major-label big in Indonesia) in February 2000 and sold over 50,000 copies.
Later, the Wizards made one indie album "Enthroned The Black Domain" in November 2001. Wizards also submitted songs work them into some other compilation albums such as "Neohellist" which was released by ESP Bandung, "Eastern Legion", "Tribute To the Rotor" ' My Name Is ' witchcraft is released for the compilation "Tribute To Rotor" and many more works of Witchcraft during the Underground scene in Indonesia.
